to a member's offer, and you just might get it.

Materials Resource Center - a nonprofit building materials re-use
project in Boston that accepts donations of good quality used and
surplus cabinets, fixtures, doors, windows, lumber, sheetrock, etc. and
sells them to the public at low prices. In addition, low and
moderate-income customers and nonprofits are eligible for a considerable
discount on those prices.

Computer Exchange - Donations of monitors, CPUs, peripherals,
and software can be made in Boston and in Hull. The equipment is
shipped to developing nations in the Third World.

Free Recycling Of Dell-Branded Products

Dell currently offers consumers no-charge recycling of
any brand of used computer or printer with the purchase
of a new Dell computer or printer. This service includes
home pick-up of the used computer at no charge. Dell will
also provide consumers no-charge
recycling of any Dell-branded product, regardless of
whether a replacement product is purchased.

Fluorescent lamp recycling
- Information about how and why to recycle
fluorescent and compact fluorescent (CFLs) lamps. While much more
energy efficient than incandescent and halogen lamps, they do contain
mercury and should be recycled.
